The Storyteller OTT Release Date: Paresh Rawal and Adil Hussain have teamed up to entertain the fans with their latest drama movie titled The Storyteller.

Helmed by Ananth Narayan Mahadevan, the film is inspired by Satyajit Ray’s short story Golpo Bolo Tarini Khuro and touches upon several themes including storytelling, redemption, motivation, personality development, emotions, friendship, and vengeance.

When and where to watch The Storyteller online on OTT? 

The Storyteller is currently available to watch online on Disney + Hotstar. On January 28th, 2025, the film made its digital debut on the on-streaming platform, offering viewers a chance to enjoy it right from the comfort of their homes.

Announcing the same, Dinsye + Hotstar, on January 18th, 2025 also shared a post on its social media handle & teased the fans with an intriguing poster of the Hindi drama. Taking to Instagram, the OTT gaint wrote, “Ek ordinary Storyteller ki extraordinary kahani!​ Streaming from Jan 28.”

It will now be interesting to see how the movie is received by the OTTians in the days to come.

Traini, after quitting his job as a press worker leaves his hometown Kolkata behind and relocates to Ahamadabad with his son. There, he gets hired as a storyteller for wealthy insomniac businessmen who would fall asleep to Traini’s bedtime stories.

While everything seems normal for Traini at the beginning, the scenario changes after a few days when he learns that an anonymous person is publishing his stories without his permission. What happens next is revealed in the movie.

Cast and Production of the Movie

Besides Paresh Rawal and Adil Hussain, The Storyteller, in its cast, features several other skilled actors including Revathi, Tannishtha Chatterjee, and Jayesh More in pivotal roles. Duncan Kenworthy has bankrolled the film under the banner of Jim Henson Productions.
