New Delhi: Mike Epps, Kim Fields, and Wanda Sykes have shown themselves to be comedic gold over the last four seasons, and they’re back for season five of The Upshaws. Debuting in 2021 and running for four years, the program has delighted viewers all around the world.
The series has followed the Upshaw family through many difficult times up to this point, including the loss of a job, a crisis related to mental health, an unexpected addition to the family, and, of course, the internal strife that exists within the family.

Plot
The show primarily follows an African American working-class family in Indiana as they try to make ends meet and put things right without a set plan.
After last year’s season, Netflix abruptly ended it, leaving viewers hanging. At last, the long wait is over, and viewers can watch as the Upshaw family’s present stories develop and get caught up on all the recent chaos.
The approaching season is shaping up to be another wild trip for the Black family from Indianapolis’ working class. Adapting to new employment, chasing after lofty goals, dealing with health issues, and experiencing shocks are all things they may expect. But their unwavering love for one another will be the rock that holds them steady.
There seems to be a lot of hilarious mayhem in store for the joyful family in the official teaser. While Lucretia and Bennie maintain their humorous rivalry characterized by lighthearted jabs and mutual scorn, Regina and Bennie are faced with the uncomfortable task of guiding their children through the world of adolescent romance.
