Plot
Heather and Carla grew up together but drifted apart due to vastly different life circumstances. Heather is now a wealthy and successful woman. She has built a seemingly perfect life, living in a beautiful home with financial security.
On the other hand, Carla has struggled through poverty and hardship. She’s been barely making ends meet while dealing with personal and financial burdens.
One day, Heather reaches out to Carla, asking to meet after years of no contact. Carla, desperate and intrigued, agrees to the meeting, not knowing what to expect.
When Carla arrives at Heather’s luxurious home, the atmosphere is uneasy yet familiar—a mix of nostalgia and underlying tension. Heather appears warm and welcoming, but as the conversation unfolds, it becomes clear that she has an ulterior motive.
After reminiscing about their shared past, Heather shocks Carla with a disturbing proposal: she wants Carla to kill her husband.
Heather presents the offer as a mutually beneficial deal, promising Carla a large sum of money in return for carrying out the murder. She frames it as an opportunity for Carla to escape her struggles, implying that she is doing her old friend a favor.
The film explores how economic privilege can create an unbridgeable gap between people who once shared the same world.
