New Delhi: A heartfelt picture that evoked strong emotions of redemption and nostalgia was unveiled at the Mumbai Film Festival in October and November. Critics were overwhelmingly positive upon Three of Us’s premiere at the 2022 International Film Festival of India (IFFI). Audiences were immediately enthralled by Three of Us upon its November 3, 2023, theatrical premiere.

Following a theatrical rollout that lasted for over two months, the film directed by Avinash Arun is now prepared to be streamed on the OTT platform.
Plot
Three of Us tells the story of a woman named Shailaja who is struggling with dementia and comes face to face with her past as she explores her upbringing and her circumstances. After receiving a diagnosis of dementia, Shailaja travels to her homeland in Malvan with her husband to relive the days of her youth. There she reunited with the person she had a crush on when she was younger.
The narrative weaves together a complex range of feelings, including love, sorrow, healing, consciousness, and freedom throughout its narrative.

From the 29th of December in 2023, the online streaming service Netflix will begin offering the romantic drama Three of Us, which stars Shefali Shah, Jaideep Ahlawat, and Swanand Kirkire.

Other Details
As a result of the film’s captivating depiction of what it means to return to one’s origins, it has received praise from film critics as well as from audiences.
Many people have referred to the movie as a therapeutic experience, and it has even received accolades for the dramatic performances, cinematography, and feelings that it conveys. After working as a cinematographer for a considerable amount of time, Avinash Arun transitioned into directing with the production of Marathi films such as Killa.
The film Three of Us was produced by Sanjay Routray, Sarita Patil, and Bunny Vas. Matchbox Shots and Allu Entertainment production were in charge of handling the presentation of the film.
The ethereal Shefali Shah, the incredible Jaideep Ahlawat, and Swanand Kirkire are the star actors that feature in Three of Us.
