Tourist Family OTT Release Date: The official digital streaming date of M Sasikumar and Simran’s blockbuster Tamil comedy Tourist Family is finally out.

JioHotstar, which is the film’s official OTT partner, recently took to its social media handle to announce that the Abhishna Jeevinth directorial will land on the platform from June 2nd, 2025, offering fans a chance to enjoy it right from the comfort of their homes.

Dropping an intriguing poster from its X (previously Twitter) account on May 28th, 2025, the OTT gaint wrote, “Wholesome emotions, arriving on June 2. #TouristFamily streaming from June 2 on #JioHotstar.”

Tourist Family’s Box Office Triumph

Made with a small budget of Rs 7.50 crores (Approx), Tourist Family made its grand premiere in the theaters on April 29th, 2025, following which it also graced the global big screens on May 1st of the same year.

Thriving on its top-notch humour, combined with a perfect blend of emotional appeal and unique storytelling, the movie not only effortlessly clicked with the cinemagoers from the first day itself but also received rave reviews from experts and critics. Gradually, as the positive word of mouth came into play, the comedy drama’s daily collection soared to impressive figures, taking its gross global Box office collection to a thumping Rs 83 crores.

With all that being said, it will now be interesting to see what kind of performances this Tamil entertainer pulls out on the digital screens in the days to come.

Besides M. Sasikumar and Simran, Tourist Family also includes Mithun Jai Sankar, Kamalesh, Yogi Babu, M. S. Bhaskar, Ramesh Thilak, Bagavathi Perumal, Elango Kumaravel, and Sreeja Ravi in its star cast.

The film is bankrolled by the talented trio of Nazerath Pasilian, Magesh Raj Pasilian, and Yuvaraj Ganesan under the banner of Million Dollar Studios MRP Entertainment.
