Unprisoned: Season 2 OTT Release Date: The fresh season of the comedy drama is all set to arrive in the Streaming Platform Disney+Hotstar from 16th September.
Plot
The story of the comedy series revolves around the life of a single mother who is also a therapist turns upside down when her father comes out of prison and starts staying with her and her teenage son.
The woman named Paige Alexander is a Marriage Therapist who enjoys a massive fan following on Instagram. Despite her occupation, she struggles with her personal life. Due to her father’s imprisonment, she has been in and out of many foster homes.
She spent time with her father’s girl friend when she was 8 years old till she turned 18. Many a times Paige imagines herself interacting with her inner child.
Her father who has been in prison for so many years wants to reconcile with his daughter and make a better life for both of them. Although Paige’s father is a good cook he is still not able to find a job due to his status as ex-inmate.
Her father is a big flirt and manages to impress ladies with his nature. Meanwhile Paige gets into a relationship with one of her case workers. On the other hand, her teenage son who is fond of card games developes close bond with his grand father despite Paige’s objections.
