Streaming movies and TV shows have launched on a plethora of new platforms this week. The Crown Part 2 and Reacher Season 2 are two of the most significant upcoming OTT releases, among others.
Single’s Inferno 3 (December 12)

The candidates on Singles Inferno live on a barren island where they must prepare their meals, refrain from using any technological devices, and collect their water. Cast members, locations, and romance in the programme are sure to make viewers fall head over heels.
Asteroid City (December 12)
Platform: Amazon Prime Video
A television presenter in a 1950s-themed retro-futurist setting presents an upcoming live performance of the play Asteroid City, written by the renowned writer Conrad Earp. The drama takes place in the made-up town of Asteroid City, which hosts a young astronomy conference.
The Crown Part 2 (December 14)
Platform: Netflix
Queen Elizabeth II’s life and reign are the focus of Season 2 of The Crown. The second season goes from 1956 to 1964. The season also covers the 1956 Suez Crisis, the retirement of Harold Macmillan, the third prime minister of the queen, in 1963 in the wake of the political scandal surrounding the Profumo affair, and the births of the queen’s two youngest sons.
Yu Yu Hakusho (December 14)
Platform: Netflix
The Japanese action-fantasy adventure series is based on Yoshihiro Togashi’s manga of the same name, which ran from 1990 to 1994. A defiant and rebellious junior in high school, Yusuke Urameshi is the protagonist of the novel. After he rescues a child from a car accident, he dies, but he comes back to life to continue his work investigating paranormal phenomena.
Yellowjackets (December 15)

A girls’ soccer squad must do everything it takes to live when their aircraft crashes in the woods. As grownups, they must face the consequences of their savage choices.
Chicken Run: Dawn of the Nugget (December 15)
Platform: Netflix
After successfully evading Tweedy’s farm, Ginger has located a peaceful island retreat where the whole flock may find solace. On the other hand, Ginger and her gang plan to break in on the mainland, where a new danger has emerged and chickens everywhere are in danger.
Shaolin Soccer (December 15)
Platform: Netflix
The plot centres on a former Shaolin monk who, after his teacher dies, gathers his five brethren to play soccer and spread Shaolin kung fu, using their extraordinary martial arts abilities.
Yoh Christmas (December 15)
Platform: Netflix
Because she is single, and feeling pressured, Thando tells her family she is seeing someone. Within the next day, she must bring one home in time for Christmas. If she is capable, the programme will reveal that.
Reacher Season 2 (December 15)
Platform: Amazon Prime Video
After being jailed for a crime, he did not commit, former Military Police Officer Jack Reacher becomes embroiled in a deadly scheme involving corrupt officers, crooked businesspeople, and ambitious politicians. With just his wits, he must solve the Margrave, Georgia mystery.
