New Delhi: Shilpa Shetty’s husband Raj Kundra is all prepared to appear on the big screen for the first time with his forthcoming biopic UT69.
The film, based on Raj’s ‘Pornographic Content Controversy’ will be released in theaters across the country on November 3rd. Weeks ahead of its premiere, the makers teased the fans by dropping the movie’s compelling trailer last Wednesday 18 October.

In the movie’s 2-minute-long trailer, one gets to have a glimpse of Raj’s life as a prisoner of Mumbai’s Arthur Jail where he struggles to deal with the constant taunting by his fellow inmates who leave no stone unturned in mocking and trolling him.
Kundra also finds it difficult to face the police officers’ hostile behavior towards him but is also seen making some strong bonds of friendship during his time in Jail. In the later half of the clip, the debutant actor Raj is seen faced with a stampede-like situation in the prison.

Netizens are now reacting to the trailer and calling it Raj’s futile attempt to regain his lost respect.
Commenting on the same, one netizen wrote, “Very inspiring story it inspired everyone to make porn movies and go to jail.” Another added,”Ha sab jante hain ki isne kya Kiya hai. Lekin ab is film me iska image clear ho jaiga. Bollywood inhi harkato ki wajah se badnam hai”
A third user said, “Being jailed by committing a crime, then managed to get bail, and based on that story now he is releasing the film. Acted and produced by himself which will clear his image now! This is how Bollywood uses it nowadays. I salute his confidence man! What a character.”

About Raj Kundra’s controversy
For the unversed, entrepreneur Raj Kundra found himself in trouble after being arrested by the authorities for allegedly being involved in an illegitimate Pornography case back in 2021. He was accused of making Pornographic tapes and thereby violating several provisions of the Information Technology Act 2000, Indian Penal Code 1860, and Indecent Representation of Women (Prevention Act) 1986.
However, he was later granted bail in September of the same year after spending about 1 and a half months behind bars.
