Uyire OTT Release Date: Uyire, the Tamil version of Shah Rukh Khan and Manisha Koirala’s 1998 release nostalgic classic romantic drama Dil Se is now available for watching online.

Helmed by Mani Rathnam, the Hindi drama was released in theaters on 21 August 1998 amid massive expectations. made on a budget of rs 11.8 crores, it amassed a remarkable sum of Rs 28.50 crore from the ticket windows, emerging as a major commercial success at the Box office. Uyire can now be watched online on the popular South Indian content provider Aha Video, where the film landed recently on February 7th, 2025.

Plot 

Dil See is a tragic love story that unfolds between a man named Amar Verma and a lady named   Amar, working as the producer for All India Radio, who falls madly in love with Meghna after encountering her for the first time at a railway station.  However, he is completely unaware of the fact that the girl he loves is faking her identity & is secretly working for a dangerous separatist group.

How Meghna, despite resisting herself, also ends up falling for Amar & what he does after learning about the former’s actual identity is revealed in the movie.
