Veteran actress Sonali Chakraborty passes away at 59 in Kolkata

New Delhi: Bengali actor Sonali Chakraborty, whose health was deteriorating for quite some time, passed away on Monday. She was constantly facing breathing problems.

Sonali was rushed to the hospital last morning but she couldn’t survive. Sonali was a big name in the entertainment industry. The veteran actress gave many rememberable masterpiece in her acting career including Har Jeet, Bandhan, and more.

She won the hearts of the audience with her outstanding acting over the years. The actress was also seen in many daily soaps. Gaatchoram proved to a life-changing project for her acting career.

Sonali was suffering from a chronic Liver ailment. Sonali Chakraborty tied the knot with Shankar Chakraborty who is also a very known actor in Bengali Industry.

The actor made his appearance in Ogo Bodhu Sundori, Maa…Tomay Chara Ghum Ashena, Ishti Kutum, Punyi Pukur and many more titles.

Shankar informed this heartbreaking news on social media today, leaving Sonali’s fans heartbroken. As per the reports Sonali’s last rites will be performed at Keoratola Crematorium in Kolkata.
