Sunny Deol reacts to viral video showing him roaming ‘drunk’ on Mumbai’s streets, says “Afwaahon ka ‘Safar’ bas yahin tak”

The clip also features an auto-rickshaw driver who spots the Gadar actor and stops his vehicle right next to him

New Delhi: A video showing Bollywood’s renowned actor Sunday Doel, who earlier slammed the Box Office with his actioner Gadar 2, roaming around the Mumbai streets at midnight in an allegedly drunken state recently went viral on social media

The viral video made netizens wonder about what made a superstar like him walk in the middle of the road like this, that too after getting heavily drunk.

Sunny Deol’s viral video:

The viral video was shared on Twitter (now X) by a user named Single_soul1, who dropped it along with a caption that read, “Sunny Deol Kaha Ghoom Raha Hai” (Where is sunny Deol roaming)

In the footage, Sunny, who is donned in an off-white shirt and blue jeans, can be spotted losing his balance while walking right in the middle of a busy road near Juhu Beach with several vehicles passing him by every then and now.

The clip also features an auto-rickshaw driver who spots the Gadar actor and stops his vehicle right next to him. He then walks out of his vehicle and helps Sunny get seated inside the auto Rickshaw.

Soon after the actor’s viral video emerged on the internet, netizens took to the comment section and started asking questions about the whole incident.

Here’s how the fans are reacting to the video:

Was Sunny Shooting for Safar?

Notably, a few fans of the actor even said that Sunny’s haters are deliberately misleading the public by claiming that the actor is under the influence of alcohol in the viral video.

They added that Sunny Deol is not drunk in the viral video nor is he randomly roaming in the middle of the road as the clip was recorded while the actor was shooting for his upcoming film Safar, helmed by Shawshank Udrapukar.

Sunny Doel’s clarification

Later on, the actor himself came forward and issued a clarification about the viral video. Rubbishing all the rumors claiming that he got drunk, the actor took to his Twitter (X) and posted another video that made it clear that the viral video was just a recording of a film shoot.
