Vidya Vasula Aham OTT Release Date: Shivani Rajashekar and Rahul Vijay’s Telugu Romantic drama is set to stream on This platform

New Delhi: In a shocking turn of events, the makers of Kota Bommali PS fame actors Shivani Rajashekar & Rahul Vijay’s upcoming rom-com- Vidya Vasula Aham have decided to forgo the film’s theatrical release and drop it on an OTT platform instead.

After missing its scheduled date to hit the big screens on Sankranti 2024, the Manikanth Gelli directorial will now stream directly on the South Indian digital platform Aha Video from May 17th, 2024, allowing the masses to watch it comfortably from their homes.

Taking to its  Twitter (Previously X) handle, Aha Video, on  Sunday, officially announced that the Telugu rom-com is coming on its streaming platform.

Dropping a date reveal poster of Vidya Vasula Aham, The OTT giant wrote “Coming on MAY 17, Vidya, to tell the story of love with ego. Vasu! Get ready for a Long Long Ego Story.”

When a proudy girl Vidya (Played by Shivani) and a stubborn guy Vasu (Played by Rahul) are tied in a knot of espousal by their families, a series of clashes erupts between the two, damaging their relationship with one another overtime.

How the couple rises to the challenges & learns to let go of their respective ego for the sake of their marriage is the crux of the film’s story.

Production and Cast

In its cast, Vidya Vasula Aham sees Shivani Rajashekar & Rahul Vijay in the lead roles. Besides them, the Telugu flick also features Abhinaya, Tanikella Bharani, Srinivas Avasarala, Ravi Varma, Adduri, Kashi Vishwanath, Viva Raghava Rupalakshmi and Rajasrinayar in other pivotal roles.

Lakshmi Navya Makkapati in collaboration with Mahesh Dutta Mothuru has produced the film under the banner of  Eternity Entertainments.
