Viraatapalem: PC Meena Reporting OTT Release: A chilling mystery set in the hauntingly quiet village of Viraatapalem is about to unravel on your screens with the release of Viraatapalem: PC Meena Reporting.

This upcoming investigative thriller dives deep into the disturbing legend that has plagued the village for generations—one where brides mysteriously die on their wedding night, their fates sealed by an ancient curse that no one dares to question.

The show will be available for streaming exclusively on Zee5 starting June 27th, making it one of the most anticipated titles for lovers of crime thrillers with a supernatural twist.

Plot

Set against the haunting backdrop of 1980s rural India, Viraatapalem unfolds in a village cloaked in silence, fear, and superstition. The quiet settlement of Viraatapalem is anything but ordinary — for over a decade, not a single wedding has taken place. Why? Because of a bone-chilling curse: every bride who has dared to marry within the village boundaries has died under mysterious and unexplained circumstances on her wedding day. What was once dismissed as coincidence has, over time, become terrifying tradition.

The villagers, steeped in generations of folklore and paralyzed by fear, have surrendered to the curse, accepting it as fate. No one questions it anymore. No one dares to challenge it — until Constable Meena arrives.

Young, resolute, and unafraid of whispered warnings, Meena is newly posted to the Viraatapalem police station. Unlike the locals, she doesn’t believe in curses. She believes in facts, evidence, and justice. And she is determined to uncover the truth behind the so-called curse, no matter how deep or dark it may run.

With few allies in the village and met with suspicion at every turn, Meena finds an unlikely companion in Ravi, a reformed convict with a turbulent past. Together, the two form an uneasy alliance — she driven by duty, he by redemption. As they begin to probe the forgotten corners of the village, they stumble upon buried secrets, long-hidden crimes, and the disturbing realization that the true horror may not be supernatural at all.

Viraatapalem: PC Meena Reporting is more than a mystery — it’s a gripping tale of courage, truth, and the fight against collective silence.
