New Delhi: Kunal Kamra is one of the most popular yet controversial stand-up comedians in India.

Over the years, the 35-year-old has not only made the masses burst into laughter with his highly relatable observational comedy but also landed in numerous controversies because of his bold & blunt remarks on prominent figures from the film industry as well as politicians.

Lately, the stand-up artist has been making headlines for mocking Bollywood superstar actor Salman Khan in one of his recently dropped YouTube videos.

In the said video, Kunal not only roasted the Tiger 3 actor mercilessly but also poked fun at the iconic blockbuster reality show Bigg Boss which has been hosted by the 58-year-old actor numerous times.

Kunal Kamra insults Salman Khan

Taking a dig at Salman Khan’s show Bigg Boss, Kamra, in the video, stated that there’s no reason comedians should be afraid of someone like Salman Khan. He said, “Salman can go around slapping women but we can’t even crack a joke on him?”

Kamra didn’t just stop there and further insulted the actor by saying that stupids from all over the country are brought to Bigg Boss only to make Salman Khan look like a sane person.

Angry Salman to file Defamation case?

Not much after Kamra’s brutal digs at Salman Khan became a talking point on Social Media, actor & film critic Kamaal R Khan took to his official X account & made a claim that shocked the internet.

Khan, in his X post, stated that Kunal’s harsh words have pissed off Salman and the actor is now set to take legal action against the stand-up comedian for the same.

He wrote, “According to reports Salman Khan is filing a defamation case against Kunal Kamra for abusing him. He is doing only comedy So Salman shouldn’t get angry.”

Kunal’s refusal to apologize & netizens’ reaction

Meanwhile, reacting to the news of Salman Khan’s plan to file a defamation suit against him, Kunal refused to apologize for his jokes and instead mocked the actor indirectly by saying that he is not a flying bird or a footpath and he doesn’t say sorry for cracking jokes anymore.

Taking to social media, many netizens also reacted to the controversy by sharing their two cents in the comment section. While many are trolling Kunal for using objectionable for the actor, others are backing him saying that Salman and his fans should learn to take jokes lightly.
