New Delhi: After much awaiting moment makers of Double Xl released trailer of Double XL. Opening shot begins with Shikhar Dhawan’s dialogue “some people see the dream beyond their limit “(kuch log aukaat se baahar sapne dekhte h ) , then he ask for a dance from Huma Qureshi and both of them are portrayed as dancing as soon as they starts dancing Huma’s mother shouts in hindi “are you going to wake up or should I call a crane
(abh uthoge ya crane mangaye)”? … What should I do about this girl , are you going to wake up or not (kya kare hum is ladki ka , abh uthoge ya nhi”) .
In the next frame Huma expresses her dream to a guy that she wants to go to Delhi to become a sports presentor on sports channel but the guy says in hindi “sorry to say but you look too big for presentor”.
Further Sonakshi’s character is revealed with her quirky look and a dream “how amazing it will be if my brand will also commence from the same place dad started his own brand.”
And then a voice over was heard people can see either size of your dream or the vision through which a person witness things”.
Trailer ends when both of them coincidently meets each other in the same situation. Both of them then decides to take things in their own hands and move to London, deciding to challenge the standard of ‘normal’ set by the world for people.
Movie is Directed by Satramm Ramani, the film is produced by Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar. This hillarios movie is scheduled to be released on October 14.
Apart from Sonakshi and Huma, the film also stars Zaheer Iqbal and Mahat Raghavendra, and has a cameo by cricketer Shikhar Dhwan in his film debut.
Trailer is giving a strong message against all the the sterotypes of bodyshamming .
