New Delhi: On Sunday, November 26, the reality competition show ‘Sa Re Ga Ma Pa 2023’ on Zee TV came to a conclusion with a grand finale after airing for three months since its premiere. The winner of the music TV reality competition was confirmed to be Albert Kabo Lepcha, who is from Kalimpong in the state of West Bengal.
His outstanding musical skills set him apart from the other competitors even though he had no previous official music training. Albert Kabo was declared the winner of the competition, and he was awarded a monetary reward of 10 lakh rupees in addition to the Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Trophy.

Himesh Reshammiya, Anu Malik, and Neeti Mohan have been guiding the show’s up-and-coming singing talents throughout the season. Meanwhile, the show’s presenter, Aditya Narayan, kept everyone entertained.
During the last episode of Sa Re Ga Ma Pa 2023, the winner was revealed to be Albert Kabo Lepcha. The judges and audience members adored him because of his constant performance throughout the season. However, the second and third-place finishers were Nishtha Sharma and Ranita Banerjee, respectively.

Who is Albert Kabo Lepcha?
Albert Kabo Lepcha presently resides in Kolkata with his wife. He is originally from Kalimpong, in West Bengal. Before appearing on ‘Sa Re Ga Ma Pa,’ the 27-year-old performer performed in live concerts. Even more recently, he formed his own band, Kabo N Company, where he sometimes plays alone or with his band.
Kabo began singing at school events and then joined the choir at his church. He did not pursue formal music education. In 2015, Albert tied the knot. He eventually found a job as a cook in Bangalore. When his grandpa passed away, he returned to his hometown and took a singing job at a local bar. Later, he and his wife moved to Kolkata, where he worked as a tour guide for a year before he auditioned for the Sa Re Ga Ma Pa regional programme.
After the win, Albert was overjoyed and admitted that he had never had such a fantastic sense of success. Additionally, Albert Kabo became the first runner-up of the show at the grand finale of Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Zee Bangla, which was held on February 5, earlier this year.

A stunning entertainment spectacle, the grand finale included acts that moved the audience to hearty emotions. Sonia Gazmer, Sneha Bhattacharya, Nishtha Sharma, Albert Kabo Lepcha, and Ranita Banerjee—the top five finalists of the show—began the final episode with a performance that was filled with energy.

With Bollywood star Govinda, his wife Sunita Ahuja, and actress Aruna Irani joining the judges, the show was twice as entertaining. With Aditya Narayan, Haarsh Limbachiyaa co-hosted the episode. Govinda lit up the stage with his singing and dancing, allowing the audience to see him in his entertaining nature.
