WOMB (Women of My Billion) OTT Release Date: WOMB (Women of My Billion) is the documentary that will be available on Amazon Prime Video starting today – May 3, 2024.

New Delhi: An influencing documentary on the fight against many types of abuse that Indian women face, WOMB (Women of My Billion) will soon be available on Amazon Prime Video. The film is both powerful and poignant. Tragically, the narrative reveals some of the battles and difficulties that Indian women face.

In this documentary, which was produced by Priyanka Chopra’s Purple Pebble Pictures, Apoorva Bakshi, and Monisha Thyagarajan’s Awedacious Originals, we follow Srishti Bakshi as she walks 3,800 kilometres (for 240 days) from Kanyakumari to Kashmir, seeking out the stories of women who have overcome obstacles to become empowered and equal.

About the Documentary

In WOMB, we follow Srishti Bakshi as she walks a million steps to raise awareness about the many challenges that women in India confront. Its goal is to push women forward in the face of adversity and motivate them to realize their greatest potential.

Srishti has courageously brought attention to these vital topics to stop violence against women and empower them. Thanks to Purple Pebble Pictures and Awedacious Originals, this pioneering documentary has been made available to viewers in India and beyond.

With an Instagram post, the OTT platform posted the teaser, which follows Srishti Bakshi as she walks from Kanyakumari to Kashmir on a pilgrimage.

Cast and Crew

Purple Pebble Pictures, run by Priyanka Chopra, and Awedacious Originals by Apoorva Bakshi, and Monisha Thyagarajan are partners in producing the film, which is directed by Ajitesh Sharma. Sangeeta Tiwari, Pragya Prasun, Neha Rai, and Srishti Bakshi are all part of the ensemble.
