5,300 km in 36 hours: PM Modi to take whirlwind tour of MP, Kerala & 2 UTs on April 24 & 25

The two-day power-packed schedule of Prime Minister will see him covering an aerial distance of around 5,300 Km and all this has been planned in just 36 hours.

New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi is known for setting new benchmarks in governance and bettering his own records too. His power packed schedule on April 24 & April 25 is one such example, when he will visit 2 states & 2 Union Territories (UTs) in less than 2 days.

Prime Minister has taken many foreign whirlwind tours in a bid to save costs & time, his latest visit to 4 domestic locations in just 36 hours is another reminder of his unwavering energy.

On April 24-25, PM Modi will visit Madhya, Pradesh, Kerala, Dadra & Nagar Haveli and Daman & Diu and will inaugurate & lay foundation stone of projects worth more than Rs 25,000 crores. PM Modi is slated to attend 8 programs & travel to at least 7 cities during the two-day schedule.

Starting on April 24, PM Modi will first visit Madhya Pradesh, then to Kerala in the South and will be followed by tour of 2 UTs in the West, before returning to the national capital.

Covering over 5,000 km distance & launching projects

Prime Minister will begin his journey on April 24th morning. He will land in Khajuraho from Delhi, covering a distance of 500 km. From Khajuraho, he will reach Rewa to attend National Panchayati Raj Day programme.

After this, he will return to Khajuraho, covering about 280 Km in to & fro journey. From Khajuraho, he will visit Kochi in Kerala, where he will participate in Yuvam Conclave. This will entail an aerial distance of about 1700 Km.

Modi - Vande Bharat

On 25th morning, Prime Minister will flag off Kerala’s 1st Vande Bharat Express from Thiruvananthapuram and also lay foundation stone of various projects. From here, he will travel to Silvassa, covering a distance of 1,570 Km. After this, he will visit Daman to inaugurate Devka seafront. From here, he will go to Surat (110 km) and then will fly back to Delhi (940 Km).
