75th Republic Day: Celebration concludes with Rafale’s air show, Uttar Pradesh’s Ayodhya Ram Mandir themed Tableau remained the highlight

India celebrated its first Republic Day on January 26, 1950, and will now be celebrating their 75th in 2024.

New Delhi: India is celebrating its 75th Republic Day on January 26, 2024.

The President of India, Droupadi Murmu, hoisted the Indian flag on Kartvaya Path.

The event will continue with the arrival of the chief guest at Kartvaya Path at 9:30 am, followed by the prestigious Republic Day Parade set to take place from 10:30 am.

The chief guest for the 75th Republic Day of India is the French President Emmanuel Macron, who arrived in India on Thursday.

Upon his arrival, the French President will receive a formal welcome before the official commencement of the Parade ceremony.

India’s varied cultural fabric and rich legacy are on display in this exquisite and precise display.

An afternoon full of enthralling cultural programs honoring the creative richness of India takes place after the march.

The nation’s military might will also be displayed simultaneously, emphasizing both its power and readiness.

Rafale air show concludes the ceremony

Rafale planes in ‘Marut’ formation, six of them, fly above Kartavya Path on Republic Day 2024.

Air Show

Five ac ‘Arrow Formation’ is flown above Kartavya Path by one LCH ac in lead, two Apache Helicopters, and two Mk-IV ac in echelon.

The ‘Vic’ formation of the Tangail formation, which consists of a lead Dakota and two echelon Dornier planes, crosses the Kartavya Path.

Motorcycle Parade

The female members of the Central Armed Police are demonstrating their “Naari Shakti” skills. 265 female motorbike riders display courage and bravery.

Cultural Performance

The Republic Day 2024 activities at Delhi’s Kartavya Path included cultural performance. 1500 dancers make up the performing troupe, which promotes unity among difference.

Uttar Pradesh Tableau

‘Ayodhya: Viksit Bharat-Samradh Virasat’ is the basis for the tableau’s concept. The front of the tableau represents Ram Lalla’s Pranpratishtha ritual by displaying his infant form.

Chhattisgarh Tableau

The democratic consciousness and traditional democratic principles that have long existed in tribal groups are reflected in the state’s tableau.

Odisha Tableau

The achievements of women’s empowerment are portrayed in the state’s tableau, along with the flourishing handicraft and handloom industries.

Manipur Tableau

Manipur presents its “Nari Shakti” in the 500-year-old “Ima Keithel,” the only market in the world that is handled completely by women.

Madhya Pradesh Tableau

Participating in the parade is the Madhya Pradesh tableau. The tableau depicts the state’s progressive and self-reliant women.

Arunachal Pradesh Tableau

Arunachal Pradesh’s Singchung Bugun Village Community Reserve, a hotspot for biodiversity, is shown in the state’s tableau on the Kartavya Path.

Haryana Tableau

This year’s tableau is themed around the Haryana government’s “Mera Parivar-Meri Pehchan” program. The tableau was created as a customary representation of Haryanvi women’s empowerment.

Rashtriya Bal Purashkar winners join the Parade

On this Republic Day, there are 19 Pradhan Mantri Rashtriya Bal Puraskar honorees on the Kartavya Path.

BSF camel contingent

Republic Day 2024 procession featuring a contingent of BSF camels. Deputy Commander Manohar Singh Kheechee is in charge of it.

Nari Shakti on display

Indian Nari Shakti was on display at Kartavaya Path as Indian women soldiers and the Delhi Police all-women band joined the march.

Indian Air Force Tableau

The theme ‘Bharatiya Vayu Sena: Saksham, Sashakt, Atmanirbhar’ is showcased in the Indian Air Force tableau. Flying Officer Asma Shaikh and Flt Lt Ananya Sharma are the tableau commanders.

Indian Navy Tableau

The Indian Navy tableau features the aircraft carrier INS Vikrant, the Navy ships Delhi, Kolkata, Shivalik, and the Kalavari Class Submarine, and it emphasizes the themes of “Nari Shakti” and “Atmanirbharta.”

At the Kartavya Path, Lt Priyanka Sevda of the 262 Field Regiment commanded the Pinaka detachment of the Artillery Regiment from the 1890 Rocket Regiment.

French Foreign Legion displays their might

On the 75th Republic Day, the French marching contingent from the 2nd Infantry Regiment of the French Foreign Legion and the thirty-piece music band of the French Foreign Legion were seen on Karvatya Path.

The first army contingent joins the march

Leading the Mechanized Column as the first Army contingent is the 61 Cavalry, under the command of Major Yashdeep Ahlawat.
