A housing society in Mumbai organises musical samosa party, 2 arrested

New Delhi: Members of a housing society in Mumbai were put behind bars for organising a musical samosa party in the society’s open area. This comes at a time when Mumbai is the worst affected city with the Covid-19 outbreak. The city alone has over 22,000 cases of novel Coronavirus, with 800 death toll.

The musical party was organised in the premises of a plush housing society, Kukreja Palace in Ghatkopar (East).

As the matter came to light, police arrested two members of cooperative housing society, including its chairman on charges of violating prohibitory orders which are in place to stem the spread of coronavirus

The party was likely held on Monday. The video of the musical get-together went viral on social media. In the videos, around 30 people could be seen gathered in the society premises for the musical concert where samosas were served to guests.
