New Delhi: After the incident of Hathras in Uttar Pradesh, there are constant questions on law and order in the state. ACS Home Avnish K Awasthi and ADG Law & Order Prashant Kumar interact with the family members of the alleged gangrape victim in Balrampur. A 22-year-old woman died after she was allegedly gangraped in the district on September 29. The accused has been arrested.

We will monitor whatever points the family has raised very closely. Their main issue is that no perpetrator should go free & there should be strict proceedings against them, said ACS Home Awanish K Awasthi, after meeting the family members of the alleged gang-rape victim in Balrampur
