New Delhi: Punjabi actor cum political activist Deep Sidhu is said to have died in a fatal road accident in Haryana. The deadly road accident reportedly happened on the Kundli-Manesar highway (KMP) near Delhi.

How actor Sidhu shot to limelight
The actor shot to national fame during the unprecedented violence in the national capital. According to police, he was one of the prominent players of Republic Day violence and also instigated youth with provocative speeches.
He along with other farm laws protestors forced their way into the Red Fort during R-Day protests, removed the tricolour and hoisted a religious flag from the iconic complex.
The incident drew flak from all actors and as the event was streamed LIVE via Facebook, the actor was also booked by cops for unleashing mindless violence on Delhi streets.
Later, the actor defended the move saying that the protestors did not remove the national flag and had put up the ‘Nishan Sahib’ as a symbolic protest.
