New Delhi: A new picture of Shraddha Walkar, who was killed by her live-in partner Aftab Poonawala and her body was chopped up into 35 pieces, was hospitalised in Mumbai in 2020 with bruises on her face, new details in the investigations have revealed.
A 26-year-old, Shraddha Walkar who worked in a call centre, was hospitalised in Vasai near Mumbai between two years ago between December 3 and 6.
Her picture with bruises on her face has gone viral on social media.
In the photos, Shraddha can be seen with bruises on her nose and cheeks.
According to the doctor, Shraddha had suffered internal injuries, severe back pain and trauma.
Doctor Shivprasad Shinde, at the Ozone multispeciality hospital who treated her then said that she had suffered only internal injuries and no external injury.
He also said that she never came for a follow-up after this.

Three years ago, Shraddha Poonawala met Aftab Poonawala on the Bumble-dating app. Soon they started dating each other.
When did Aftab kill Shraddha?
Aftab allegedly strangled Shraddha on May 18 at his rented apartment in South Delhi’s Chhatarpur after a fight over expenses and chopped his body in 35 pieces and stored it in a 300-liter fridge.
He then dumped the body parts in a nearby forest.
When was Aftab arrested?
Aftab Poonawala was taken to custody on Saturday (November 12) after Delhi police started probing into a missing complaint filed by Shraddha’s father Vikas Walker.
