New Delhi: Pro-Khalistani sympathiser Amritpal Singh’s aide Papalpreet Singh has been arrested by Punjab Police and its counter-intelligence unit in a joint operation from Hoshiarpur, said Sources.
Papalpreet Singh accompained Sikh leader Amritpal Singh from the moment he escaped the Police’massive hunt on March 18.
In several CCTV footages, Amritpal Sing and Papalpreet was een travelling together, changing their looks, attire, vehicle locations as they were escaping the chase by Punjab Police.
To escape Punjab Police massive manhunt, they fled from Punjab to Haryana and then to Delhi before entering Punjab again.

Earlier, Gaurav Yadav, DGP, Punjab said that Amritpal Singh who is on a run will soon be caught.

After the massive crackdown was launched, the fugitive Khalistan leader had shared a video where he could be heard saying that he was not “a fugitive” and he will appear in front of everyone soon.
