New Delhi: In a spine-chilling incident in Andhra Pradesh’s Visakhapatnam district, a man intruded into an elderly woman’s house and fled with a gold chain after brutally trying to strangle her on Monday.
As per the reports, the accused barged into the house with the intention of stealing valuables but was caught off guard seeing the victim, identified as Laxmi Narayanamma, present there.
Anticipating that the woman might scream or call for help anytime, he then wasted no time in silencing her by attempting to mercilessly strangle her using a wet towel. The horrifying footage of his monstrous act is now surfacing on the internet & drawing reactions from the netizens.

As the disturbing 87-second footage opens, we see the accused thief putting a white towel around the neck of the woman before attempting to strangle her using the same.
The victim can also be heard pleading with the accused to go away and spare her as she continues to struggle desperately for breath while trying her best to save herself from the brutal attack. By the end of the video, the attacker is even seen covering the victim lady’s mouth with his hand in order to neutralize her & silence her screams.

Victim survives the brutal attack
Fortunately, the victim woman has managed to survive the deadly assault and is currently recovering from her injuries. Meanwhile, the local police have also initiated a probe into the matter and are currently looking for the attacker.
