New Delhi: Phone snatchers and burglars at railway stations have turned into a menace in Bihar. At least, the viral video clips suggest so.
In less than a fortnight, another video of failed robbery in a Bihar train has surfaced where the thief was caught by passengers and kept dangling through the train’s window for quite sometime.
The incident happened on the Jamalpur-Sahibganj passenger train between Lailakh and Ghogha stations, when the train was about to leave the platform. The thief swooped on a passenger and tried to snatch his phone away from the train’s window but the passengers got better of him and caught him before he could escape.
In the video that surfaced, he could be seen dangling from the speeding train’s window and begging for help to save his life.

While he dangled dangerously, other passengers took out their phone and recorded the video. The thief was also dragged inside and thrashed for attempting to snatch a passenger’s mobile phone.
1st incident of dangling thief on Bihar train
This is the second incident of thief dangling from train’s window after being caught by passengers in the nick of time.
First incident happed in Bihar’s Begusarai district on Sept 14.
The mobile snatcher kept begging for his life while he kept hanging from speeding train for long distance. The video of the incident had gone viral on social media.
The thief kept dangling for around 10 kilometers and was finally allowed to let go when the train stopped at Khagaria.
