New Delhi: A child in Shivpur district of Madhya Pradesh at the Manipura Primary Health Centre was born with a horn-like structure instead of legs. The mother and the doctors were stunned to see the baby without legs, instead he had a horn-like structure that protruded from below the torso.
The baby was born on August 26 and is being called a ‘miracle baby’. He was born underdeveloped and weighed only 1.4 kg. He was admitted to the Shivpuri District Hospital and was kept under professional care in Special Newborn Care Unit. According to The Mirror, even after such a strange condition, the baby was in stable condition. Doctors are still trying to find out the reason behind this deformity. Some medical experts have an opinion that sometimes when the baby fails to get the required nutrition in the mother’s womb, they are born with a deformity.
