New Delhi: Dramatic scenes emerged at a hospital in Kolkata, where Arpita Mukherjee, the close aide of Bengal SSC scam Partha Chatterjee, was brought for a medical check-up. Both the former Bengal minster and his aide Arpita were brought to the hospital for medical examination, following the orders of Calcutta High Court.
While TMC veteran Partha Chatterjee was seen on the wheelchair, the ‘cash queen’ of Bengal was seen crying copiously on the road in the ED custody. She kept crying inside the car and refused to come out of the vehicle. While security officials tried hard to persuade her, she resisted. As a result of which, she had to be dragged outside of the vehicle.
She sat down on the road and kept crying. The dramatic footage showed the powerful aide of former Bengal minister lying on her knees and crying profusely in the car and then on the street.

Eventually, she was taken to the hospital in a wheelchair. Reports said that she also fainted and fell to the ground while being taken to the hospital.
Partha Chatterjee and Arpita were brought to the city’s Joka ESI Hospital on Friday morning for health check-up.
Former TMC minister Partha Chatterjee, a key accused in Bengal school jobs and SSC scam was seen on the wheelchair while on way to hospital. On his way to hospital, he was also questioned by the reports about his removal from the party posts, to which he remained mum.

Meanwhile, tightening the noose on former minister’s aide, the sleuths are now searching for her luxury cars. Her 4 luxury cars including Audi A4, Honda City, Honda CRV and Mercedes Benz have gone missing, said reports. The ED has already recovered a huge cash haul of about Rs 50 crore and gold bars worth more than Rs 5 crore.
