Bengaluru MLA Aravind Limbavali strives to create a ‘model constituency’ by 2023

Outlining the steps & roadmap for carving a safe & secure region especially for women, the BJP legislator has his priorities defined, before the next Assembly elections in 2023. Another BJP MLA to have take a similar pledge for women safety is Dr CN Ashwath Narayan.

New Delhi: While the Hijab row rages on in the Southern state of Karnataka, a couple of BJP legislators are working round the clock to turn their Assembly into a ‘model constituency’, where state welfare policies make up for more than what is required and people don’t have to run from pillar to post for basic essentials.

Aravind Limbavali, a BJP MLA from the Mahadevapura constituency of Bengaluru has vowed to turn his constituency ‘extra safe’ for women by next year. Outlining the steps & roadmap for carving a safe & secure region especially for women, the BJP legislator has his priorities defined, before the next Assembly elections in 2023. Another BJP MLA to have take a similar pledge for women safety is Dr CN Ashwath Narayan.

Aravind Limbavali represents Mahadevapura seat while Dr CN Ashwath Narayan represents Malleswaram seat, both falling in Bengaluru Urban district.

Sharing Public Place Safety Audit report this weekend, the Mahadevapura MLA vowed to make women’s safety a priority in his constituency.

“There have not been incidents of violence against women in the constituency since I took office. However, women’s safety will definitely be given priority,” he said.

The report was based on many issues related to public & basic social amenities including distribution of streetlights, maintenance of public toilets, functionality of CCTVs and walkable footpaths.

Mahadevapura MLA Limbavali reiterated his pledge to take up development projects in his constituency with renewed vigour while also informed that the biggest hurdle in development were land issues & lack of funding.

“Mahadevapura is an underdeveloped constituency compared to Malleswaram or Shivajinagar. The installation of streetlights will require improving the roads as well as grants for both,” he said.

‘Whom to blame for Bengaluru’s broken roads?’, Limbavali said this

Limbavali is an outspoken & upright politician who doesn’t shy away from questioning his own government on issues pertaining to public. Last year, he took on his own government in the Legislative Assembly over pothole-ridden roads in the metropolitan city.

Lashing out at the poor co-ordination between government bodies, he slammed the agencies for Bengaluru’s broken roads. He called out the city’s Water Supply (BWSSB) and Electricity Supply (BESCOM) boards for mindless digging of roads with no co-ordination on ground. This also earned him wide praise on the social media.
