New Delhi: Nitish Kumar-led ‘Mahagathbandhan’ on Wednesday won the motion of confidence in the Bihar Assembly. Meanwhile, some Bihar BJP MLAs were seen walking out of the State Legislative Assembly. Reacting to this, Bihar CM Nitish Kumar said, ”you all must have got an order from your superior bosses.”

In the 243-member Bihar assembly, Nitish Kumar’s government received 160 votes. Ahead of the trust vote, VK Sinha, Bihar Assembly Speaker tendered his resignation. The election of electing a new Speaker will take place on August 26, according to Maheshwar Hazari, Deputy Speaker.
Earlier in the day, Bihar Deputy CM Tejashwi Yadav said, ”The alliance of his party with Nitish Kumar’s JDU is going to have a never-ending partnership.”
