
Delhi elections 2020: PM Modi addresses rally in Karkardooma
New Delhi: As Bihar prepares to vote in 3 phases starting October 28, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has sought Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s time on October 22 to address 4 poll rallies for NDA candidates in the poll-bound state.
PM Modi’s mass appeal and the captivating effect he has on the audience is no secret to anyone. According to reports, BJP’s biggest star campaigner may address 4 proposed rallies in Buxar, Jehanabad, Rohtas and Bhagalpur.
After PMO gives the clearance, the party would ensure proper logistics at these venues along with the facilities for crowd management and also for the other leaders who are likely to be present in these rallies.
PM Modi is the biggest star campaigner for the party and BJP hopes to encash his popularity among the masses in garnering votes for the alliance.
BJP hopes to capitalize on the charisma of Prime Minister to extract maximum election benefits and emerge as bigger partner in the NDA alliance. Recently, TimesNow-Cvoter survey predicted BJP as the single largest party in the Bihar polls with 85 seats while showed JD(U) settling at 2nd spot with about 70 seats.
However, it won’t be limited to just 1 phase. State BJP has reached out to top leadership and sought PM Modi’s rallies in second phase of polling as well. Sources with inside information said that PM Modi may address 4 rallies in a day for the next phase of election as well.
Bihar with 243 Assembly seats will go to polls in three phases: October 28, November 3 and November 7. The election results will be announced on November 10.
