New Delhi: The unfortunate incident of IAF’s chopper crash in Coonoor of Tamil Nadu has left the nation and armed forces shell-shocked. The scale & intensity of fire at the mishap site has left not much to speculate about the survival of Army officials on board the VIP chopper.
A couple of political leaders have expressed shock over the incident and are also praying for their speedy recovery.

Meanwhile, the IAF has ordered an inquiry into the accident. “An IAF Mi-17V5 helicopter, with CDS Gen Bipin Rawat on board, met with an accident today near Coonoor, Tamil Nadu. An Inquiry has been ordered to ascertain the cause of the accident,” tweeted IAF.
