BJP berates Sisodia over latter’s show of strength & sloganeering ahead of CBI appearance

BJP I-T cell Amit Malviya took to Twitter and said that Sisodia was not going for any Satyagraha and therefore the party must stay away from unjust sloganeering.

New Delhi: The Bhartiya Janata Party (BJP) trained guns at Delhi Deputy CM Manish Sisodia on Monday while the latter made his way to Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) office for investigation in the liquor policy case.

Before heading to CBI office for questioning, Manish Sisodia held a show of strength and was seen leading a cavalcade of supporters with himself waving the national flag.

Sisodia, accompanied by AAP Rajya Sabha MP Sanjay Singh & hordes of supporters also paid a visit to Raj Ghat and said that he will be arrested by the investigative agency. Launching attack on BJP, he said that the saffron party was afraid of AAP’s entry in Gujarat and his arrest has been planned to stop him from campaigning in the poll-bound state.

Taking strong exception to Sisodia’s public rally & call for Satyagrah, the BJP launched a scathing attack on him as well as AAP govt. It said that the party was eulogizing its corrupt minister, whose erroneous & corrupt liquor policy resulted in crores of losses to the state’s exchequer.

BJP spokesperson Sambit Patra trained guns and said that AAP workers were raising slogans in support of Sisodia and questioning the reason behind.

“Has the AAP won the World Cup of corruption,” he asked in a stinging jibe at party.

BJP I-T cell Amit Malviya took to Twitter and said that Sisodia was not going for any Satyagraha and therefore the party must stay away from unjust sloganeering.

He said that Congress leader Rahul Gandhi also threw similar tantrums before questioning but had to record his statements for 5 days.

In another tweet, Malviya drew ‘eerie similarities’ between Sisodia & Shiv Sena’s Sanjay Raut and said both leaders engaged in similar ‘drama’ before their questioning by investigative agencies.

“The outcome may well be the same. Raut has been in jail now, forever,” Malviya’s tweet added.

Manish Sisodia is being questioned by the CBI in connection with alleged corruption in Delhi liquor scam.
