CCTV FOOTAGE: E-rickshaw carrying firecrackers explodes in Greater Noida, one dead

New Delhi: In a shocking incident, one person lost his life after an explosion took place in an e-rickshaw in Greater Noida on Monday (February 27). The video of the incident is doing rounds on social media.

According to reports the e-rickshaw was carrying firecrackers which resulted in an explosion during the Jagannath Yatra.

The incident took place when the e-rickshaw carrying crackers for the procession’s fireworks suddenly caught fire after a cracker that was set off during the yatra fell on it.

Police said two people were critically injured in the fire incident and were shifted to a nearby hospital for treatment. Cops further said that one person died due to injuries today.

थाना दादरी क्षेत्रांतर्गत कस्बा दादरी में जगन्नाथ शोभा यात्रा के दौरान आतिशबाजी के समान में आग लग गई। इस घटना में 02 व्यक्ति घायल हो गए जिनको इलाज हेतु हॉस्पिटल भेजा गया है, आवश्यक कार्यवाही की जा रही है।

In the viral video, everything seems to be normal in the busy market area in the Dadri area, some people can be seen standing near the shop. At some time, an e-rickshaw can be seen coming, when suddenly an explosion takes place in the boxes filled with firecrackers kept on the e-rickshaw.
