New Delhi: The Centre on Friday announced that it has decided to revise the financial assistance to orphaned kids of Ex-servicemen from Rs 1,000 per month to Rs 3,000. The latest development was announced by Defence Minister Rajnath Singh on Twitter. Reportedly, the relief will help a lot of children who were demanding a hike in financial assistance for a long time.
”Delighted to announce the revision of financial assistance to the orphaned children of Ex-Servicemen (ESM) from Rs. 1000/-pm to Rs. 3000/-pm under ORPHAN GRANT SCHEME of the Raksha Mantri Ex-Servicemen Welfare Fund. Many ESM families will be benefitted from this decision,” wrote Singh on Twitter.
