Polling for 90 Assembly seats in Chhattisgarh took place in two phases on November 7 and November 17. The high-decibel campaigning and electioneering by the incumbent Congress and Opposition Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) created a sort of poll frenzy for past one month, however, all that political storm came to an end with the second & final round of voting on November 17.
The contesting parties as well as poll pundits have their sights fixed on December 3, when the vote counting will decide the fate of ruling Bhupesh Baghel government.
In Chhattisgarh, Congress rallied behind its ruling chief minister Bhupesh Baghel and hopes to retain power for the second term on back of public welfare policies while the Opposition BJP is eyeing a change.
The counting of votes on December 3 (Sunday) will reveal the final picture but the Exit Polls today will definitely give an indication of what to expect on the big day…
