CM Bommai gets teary eyed after watching 777 Charlie, movie reminded him of pet dog

CM Basavaraj Bommai is an avid dog lover. After the movie, he was highly emotional as it made him remember about his pet dog. He lost him when he was the state Home Minister.

New Delhi: It was a special screening of the movie 777 Charlie, organised for the Karnataka Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai & the esteemed guests but ended up creating a highly emotional scene and left the CM teary eyed.

The Karnataka CM broke down while watching Rakshit Shetty starrer flick 777 Charlie, the movie which celebrates the bonding between a man & his dog.

The Chief Minister recently lost his family dog, a golden retriever named Sunny. The movie made him reminisce about the golden times he spent with pet dog. The Chief Minister couldn’t control his tears and as reports suggest tears rolled down his cheeks as he watched the poignant tale of man-dog bonding in the flick 777 Charlie.

When his pet dog died last year, pictures of him crying profusely spread on social media like wildfire.

On July 12, 2021, Bommai also tweeted in Kannada which meant, “Today we lost our pet dog Sunny. I’m in great pain as I lost a family member. Sunny loved mingling with everyone who came home. Om Shanti.”

The Chief Minister loved the movie, applauded the film makers for an amazing film and also urged everyone to watch it.

777 Charlie
