CM Yogi Adityanath watches ‘The Kerala Story’ with his cabinet

Lucknow: Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath watched ‘The Kerala Story’ film along with his cabinet ministers on Friday.

A special screening of the movie was held at the Lok Bhawan auditorium in Lucknow.

During the screening, a large number of BJP officials, women associated with various social and cultural organizations, school students and media representatives were also present.

CM Yogi, through his tweet, congratulated all the people associated with the film and sent his best wishes.

Yogi met The Kerala Story team yesterday

After the successful run at the Box Office, the makers of film ‘The Kerala Story’ called on Uttar Pradesh chief minister Yogi Adityanth on Wednesday.

The Kerala Story team met Yogi Adityanath at his official residence 10,Kalidas Marg in Lucknow.

The team included producer Vipul Amritlal Shah, director Sudipto Sen & actress Adah Sharma, who played the main protagonist in the movie.

The filmmakers paid a courtesy visit to UP CM and also thanked him for the support extended by state government.
Notably, the movie has been made tax-free in Uttar Pradesh to facilitate more footfalls in the theatres & multiplexes.

Making a film tax-free slashes the ticket cost, thus prompting more people to visit multiplexes. The film has been a roaring success at the Box Office as it garnered more than Rs 50 crores within 5 days of release.
