CM Yogi had also appealed to the Lord Ram devotees to light diyas and illuminate their homes in celebration of the ‘bhumi pujan’. Ayodhya has already been illuminated since Monday. Houses and buildings in the city have been painted yellow to create a tretayug-like facade during the bhoomi pujan event.
Meanwhile, RSS workers will be reciting Ramcharit Manas and Hanuman Chalisa in Nagpur when the event begins in Ayodhya on Wednesday.
“Workers residing at the Sangh headquarter will light diyas and recite ‘Hanuman Chalisa’ and ‘Ramcharit Manas’ (traditional texts dedicated to Lord Hanuman and Lord Shriram, respectively) on Wednesday,” an RSS official told news agency PTI earlier today.
