Lucknow: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath remained a massive hit on social media on the occasion of Amrit Mahotsav of Independence with his greetings evoking overwhelming response from people on Monday.
On Twitter alone, CM Yogi’s congratulatory messages were liked more than 1.5 lakh times and retweeted more than 22,000 times. Similarly, his messages on Facebook received lakhs of likes as well as thousands of comments and shares.
Soon after Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s address on the 75th anniversary of independence on Monday, Yogi Adityanath posted 12 to 14 tweets one after the other in quick succession drawing instant greeting in return from followers.
Through his tweets, the CM praised Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s ninth address to the nation from the ramparts of the Red Fort and also sent his greetings to the people on the occasion of the 75th anniversary of independence, which was reciprocated overwhelmingly by his followers.
It is worth mentioning that Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath uses all the platforms of social media including Twitter, Facebook, Instagram and Koo to connect with people and provide the latest information related to decisions taken by the Government in public interest to them.
CM Yogi has as many as 2.12 crore followers on Twitter, 72 lakh on Facebook, 37 lakh on Instagram and 43 lakh on Koo. On the 75th anniversary of independence, no other Chief Minister got as much attention on social media as CM Yogi.
Yogi Adityanath has been one of the most active politicians on social media for past many years. His activism on social media even grew further after he became the chief minister of Uttar Pradesh for the first time in 2017. Currently, Yogi Adityanath is far ahead his counterparts from other states on social media.
The UP Chief Minister has tweeted on an average 15-16 times daily between August 1 and August 15. The tweets were mainly posted to congratulate the winners of the Commonwealth Games. Besides, CM Yogi took to social media o apprise the people of the Government’s schemes as well as his own programmes apart from having dialogues with them on special occasions.
