CM Yogi visits Ramlala and Hanumangarhi, takes stock of progress in Ram temple construction

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath reached Ayodhya on Sunday morning where he first visited and offered prayers at Hanumangarhi for a happy and healthy Uttar Pradesh.

Ayodhya: Seventy percent of construction of Ram temple in Ayodhya has been completed. This was revealed during Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath’s visit to Ayodhya on Sunday morning.

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath reached Ayodhya on Sunday morning where he first visited and offered prayers at Hanumangarhi for a happy and healthy Uttar Pradesh. Then the Chief Minister had darshan of Ramlala and also took part in ‘aarti’ and ‘parikrama’.

The CM also learnt about the progress in the construction of Ram temple from officials and was told that 70 percent of construction of Ram temple has been completed. Six years ago on March 19, Gorakshpeethadhishwar Mahant Yogi Adityanath had taken over as Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh. Earlier, on reaching Ayodhya, the CM was given a salute at the Ramkatha helipad.

It is noteworthy that the announcement of Yogi Adityanath becoming the Chief Minister was made on March 18, 2017, and he was sworn in as the Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh on the following day on March 19. It is a coincidence that on March 18, 2023, Gorakshpeethadhishwar and Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath visited and paid obeisance to Baba Vishwanath in Kashi for the record 100th time in six years while offering his prayers to Kalbhairav and on March 19, he began his Ayodhya tour and offered prayers to Sankat Mochan Hanuman.

With the blessings of Baba Vishwanath, Lord Shri Ram and Sankat Mochan Hanuman, Yogi Adityanath also set the record of becoming the Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh for the longest time. After CM Yogi had the darshan of Ramlala, he was presented a memento by the General Secretary of Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Champat Rai.

Takes stock of progress in construction of Ram temple

On the occasion, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath also learnt about the progress in construction of Ram temple. Champat Rai gave detailed information about the progress to the Chief Minister. Yogi Adityanath also inquired about the well being of the labourers working there. The Chief Minister was told by officials that 70 percent construction of the temple has been completed. Local public representatives were also present during the inspection.
