New Delhi: In yet another achievement for Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, the CM’s official Twitter handle @myogioffice has crossed the 8 million followers mark. The Twitter account of Yogi Adityanath’s office is second in terms of number of followers after the PMO. Besides, CM Yogi’s another Twitter handle @myogiadityanath has more than 2.25 crore followers.

It is noteworthy that Yogi’s popularity transcends borders and lately his face has become a guarantee of victory for the Bharatiya Janata Party in elections not only in UP, but in other states of the country also. Lakhs of people throng his public meetings to see and hear him. Chief Minister Yogi personally interacts with the people and is available available virtually 24×7.

Chief Minister Yogi is active on almost all social media platforms and is far ahead of other Chief Ministers of the country, major leaders of opposition parties and even the world’s big leaders in terms of number of followers on social media.

Chief opposition leader in Uttar Pradesh Akhilesh Yadav (1.76 crore) is already far behind CM Yogi’s personal Twitter account on all social media platforms including Twitter. The number of followers of Yogi Adityanath on Twitter is more than four times of Priyanka Gandhi Vadra (51 lakh) and more than 7 times of Mayawati (29 lakh).
No chief ministers or leader of any state is even close to CM Yogi in terms of followers on Twitter. Yogi Adityanath is seven times ahead of Sharad Pawar (27 lakhs) and three times ahead of Mamata Banerjee (70 lakhs). Yogi has about 15 times more followers than Uddhav Thackeray (15 lakhs), and is 5 times ahead of Ashok Gehlot (43 lakhs).

CM Yogi also has 60 lakh followers on the Koo app, the highest for any person so far on the app. On an average 6 posts are posted daily from Yogi’s handle on the app. Chief Minister Yogi made his debut on this app on February 9, 2021. According to the management of the app, Yogi is followed by people from 28 states and more than 70 countries on this app.
