New Delhi: Delhi people shiver in the longest cold wave in a decade, with the minimum temperature recorded at 1.9 degrees Celcius.
The India Meteorological Department today said dense and very dense fog layer have been extended from Punjab to Bihar across Haryana, Delhi and Uttar Pradesh.

On Monday (January 9) the National capital recorded minimum temperatures for the fifth consecutive day, temperature lower than in some areas of Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand.
Thick fog and dipping mercury have also train movements, flight, and movements of traffic and also affected the reopening of schools.
