Double-engine govt is committed to doubling income of farmers: CM Yogi

Lucknow: Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has thanked Prime Minister Narendra Modi for increasing sugarcane’s Fair and Remunerative Price (FRP) for the season 2024-25.

Taking to social media platform X on Thursday, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath wrote that the government is committed to doubling the income of farmers. In this regard, under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the Union Cabinet has decided to increase the Fair and Remunerative Price (FRP) for sugarcane by eight per cent, setting it at 340 rupees per quintal for the 2024-25 season.
