New Delhi: An earthquake of 5.7 Richter scale has shaken North-east India. As per the National Center for Seismology, the earthquake occurred in the West Siang district of Arunachal Pradesh, while the tremors were felt in regions nearby. The quake came just a day after powerful tremors took place in the wee hours of 8th November.

As per the EMSC, the earthquake was at a depth of 2 km. The scientists warned against earthquakes in the Himalayan regions. However, no loss of lives has been reported as of now.
