New Delhi: Amid the raging controversy and hoopla over Shah Rukh & Deepika starrer flick ‘Pathaan’ hitting the theatres towards the fag end of January, an edited video clip featuring PM Modi has gone viral on social media.
In the viral clip, PM Modi can be seen watching trailer of the upcoming film. The video clip instantly grabbed instant attention of netizens and is also drawing comments & jokes from many users.
However, the truth behind ‘PM Modi watching Pathan trailer’ is that it is a doctored clip by some mischievous element or rather a self-styled fan of the Bollywood superstar.
The video was shared by a Twitter handle Iamsrkmk. It was created just last month in December and has merely 102 followers. At first instance, this seems to be an act of SRK’s fan, who wants to create a positive ambience before the release of the movie. Remember, like Aamir’s Laal Singh Chaddha, SRK’s Pathaan has been facing the ire of the right brigade over Deepika Padukone’s saffron bikini.
The Twitter handle has also shared other ‘fan-moment’ videos like someone doing an aarti for King Khan while some school children grooving to Pathaan song.

Advance bookings for Shahrukh Khan Pathaan will begin in India on January 20. Shah Rukh Khan, Deepika Padukone, and John Abraham will be seen in the lead roles.
Soon after the YRF announced the booking dates, hashtags started trending on social media creating buzz all over.
The makers of Pathaan announced the bookings of the ticket on January 20, five days before the mega release in the theaters. The film will be released in Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu.

SRK is returning to the big screens after a gap of four long years.
Pathaan is trending on social media for all the good as well as bad reasons.
Recently, the makers released the first song from the film titled “Besharam Rang” following which the right-wing groups and some leaders demanded others to boycott the film.
This trend to boycott Pathaan started after Deepika Padukone was seen wearing an orange bikini in the song.
