New Delhi: Exit Poll 2022 for Gujarat Assembly Elections and Himachal Pradesh will be predicted today after the second phase of voting for Gujarat will end today at 5 pm.

Also, results for Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) polls will also be predicted today.

After the prediction is revealed in the exit poll, a picture will emerge of the party that will likely form a government in Gujarat and Himachal Pradesh and also about who will win the MCD election.

Gujarat Assembly Elections 2022:

The second phase of polling for the Gujarat Assembly Elections is currently underway on 93 seats spread across 14 districts. Around 833 candidates are in the fray.

Meanwhile, the first phase of the Assembly elections was held on December 1 on 89 seats spread across 19 districts.
Gujarat will see a tough fight between BJP, AAP, and Congress.

Gujarat Assembly Elections 2017 Exit Poll vs Reality

In 2017, exit polls predicted Bhartiya Janata Party’s government in the state. According to the India Today-Axis My India exit polls, it predicted 112-116 seats for the BJP. The BJP won 48 out of 89 seats in 2017 in the first phase of polling and 51 seats in the second phase, taking the total number of seats won to 99 out of 182 seats.

While Congress was predicted to win 65 seats but in reality, it won 77 seats in 2017.

Himachal Pradesh Assembly Elections 2022

The people of Himachal Pradesh voted for the Legislative Assembly on November 12 in a single-phase contest. The polling was done to elect 68 members of the Legislative Assembly. The counting of votes for the Assembly election will be conducted on December 8 (Thursday).

Himachal Pradesh Elections 2017 Exit Poll vs Reality

In 2017 Exit polls, maximum predicted an easy win for the BJP in Himachal Pradesh at a time when the state was ruled by Congress. The Exit poll predicted that BJP will win 47 seats while Congress was predicted to win an average of 22 seats. However, the BJP won 44 seats defeating the Congress in 2017.
