New Delhi: Bharat Bhushan Bharti, former chairman of the Haryana Staff Selection Commission (HSSC) has been appointed as the political advisor to the Haryana chief minister Manohar Lal Khattar after the resignation of Ajay Gaur, was accepted with immediate effect by the Governor.
The appointment of Bharat Bhushan Bharti comes after the meeting of the Haryana BJP and RSS on Tuesday in Rohtak.
The meeting was attended by Chief Minister and Senior Party members from Delhi where they reviewed the political situation in the state for the upcoming 2024 general and Assembly elections.
According to reports, more resignations and appointments could be part of a reshuffle could be part of the Chief Minister’s office.
Earlier, the HSSC chairman before the appointment as the political advisor to the CM had faced administrative action in cash-jobs scam.
He was also suspended by the Haryana Government in 2018 as Haryana Staff Selection Commission Chairman (HSSC) chairman for his derogatory question about Brahmins during the Junior Engineer examinations.
