Here is how a Man from Kerala paid tribute to the 1999 Kargil war hero, Captain Vikraman Batra

This portrait is the largest underwater portrait ever created, and the URF World Records has certified it as such (Universal Records Forum).

New Delhi: Many of us don’t know about this but 26th of July is celebrated as kargil war divas to mark India’s victory over Pakistan in the 1999 kargil war. but this year aunique homahe was paid to the kargil war hero, captain Vikram batra in Thirunvanthapuram. So its basically an underwater portrait some around 50 ft long and 30 ft wide was installed in pangode Military station, in Kerala.


The Kerala Press Information Bureau posted a video to Twitter. Scuba divers and the artist were seen erecting the artwork in the video. Artist Davinci Suresh created the portrait of the subject underwater. The Indian Army was in charge of planning the event. This work took the artist eight hours to complete using tiles. Each tile had a unique number. This portrait is the largest underwater portrait ever created, and the URF World Records has certified it as such (Universal Records Forum).

The late Captain Vikram Batra received a unique tribute that Twitter users were proud of. What they said was as follows. Captain Vikram Batra, who passed away, was important in the Kargil War. The highest military accolade in India, the Param Vir Chakra, was given to him posthumously.
