New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will turn 72 this Saturday i.e. September 17. Every year, PM Modi does something special to make his birthday special. He never took a break on his birthday from his duty to the nation since he became the PM of India.
This year on his birthday, he will release eight cheetahs into the Kuno National Park that have been brought from Namibia. Notably, the big cat was extinct in the country in 1952 due to sport hunting, overhunting and habitat loss.
A day ahead of his birthday, PM Modi arrived in Samarkand to attend the in-person summit of the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation in Uzbek city.

In 2014 after becoming the PM, Narendra Modi arrived in Ahmedabad to meet his mother Heeraba and commemorate his 64th birthday.

PM Modi’s birthday celebration in 2015
On his 65th birthday, PM Modi visited a military exhibition to mark the golden jubilee of the Indo-Pak War of 1965. On that day, a 365-kg ladoo was unveiled to mark his birthday.

On his 67th birthday, PM Modi dedicated the mega Sardar Sarovar Dam project to the nation. He also visited the residence of Marshal of Indian Air Force Arjan Singh.

To make his 68th birthday special, PM Modi spent a day with school children in his parliamentary constituency, Varanasi. Meanwhile, he gave them gifts like a solar lamp, stationery, school bags and notebooks.
